The National Environment Agency (NEA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) have jointly launched a Grant Call under the Gov-PACT initiative, to encourage greater use of technology and automation, and raise productivity for the collection and pre-processing of soiled crockery for both offsite and onsite centralised dishwashing at hawker centres, food courts and F&B establishments.

The Application will be opened till 31 May 2021 at 12pm (Singapore time, GMT+8).

Call to Reduce Food Waste Disposal from Commercial Premises and Enhance Recycling [Closed for applications]

The National Environment Agency (NEA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) have jointly launched the Call to reduce food waste disposal from commercial premises and enhance recycling, as part of the National Innovation Challenges (NIC) to:

  • Improve source segregation of food waste by stakeholders (tenants, cleaning staff and/or patrons)
  • Accurately track and measure the amount of segregated food waste (between organic and inorganic) generated by tenants within premises
  • Have a robust on-site food waste treatment system that optimises use of limited space and generates useful output for commercial premises

Call for Data-driven Environmental Services Operations [Closed for applications]

The National Environment Agency (NEA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) have jointly launched the Call for Data-driven Environmental Services (ES) Operations as part of the National Innovation Challenges (NIC), to develop a digital platform for a seamless interpretation and analysis of data across formats to assist users to monitor conditions of their properties, improve service responses and optimise resource allocation in near real-time condition. The solution should translate to cost savings, improvement in productivity, service quality and performance for users.
