Releases in landed estate
Vans equipped with release automation technology will be deployed to conduct targeted releases at the Marine Parade landed estate.
What should I do if I live in a release site?
- You do not have to do anything differently. Please continue to carry out the Mozzie Wipeout to keep the mosquito population low.
- You may notice an increase in the number of male mosquitoes during the release period. Don’t worry, males do not bite or transmit disease.
- If you experience increased mosquito biting, this could be due to female mosquitoes in the community. You may use NEA-registered insecticides or any gadget to kill mosquitoes as you normally would.
- Do not remove or tamper with the mosquito traps.
