*Foreigners are allowed to be buried in Singapore only if the deceased persons have immediate next-of-kin (parents, spouse, children only) who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
v) All cancellations and changes to confirmed bookings must be made by the applicant or next-of-kin of the deceased in person at the service counters, together with all relevant documents.
Note:
With effect from 1 November 1998, the burial period for all graves will be limited to 15 years. At the end of 15 years, the graves will be exhumed. For those whose religions permit cremation, the exhumed remains will be cremated and stored in columbaria niches. Where burial is mandated by religion, the exhumed remains will be re-buried in smaller individual plots.

Ash Scattering Facilities
Cremated ashes may be scattered in the ash scattering facility, i.e. Garden of Peace, located at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery and operational from 17 May 2021.

- The North Gate is located along Old Choa Chu Kang Road, next to bus stop no. 31139.
- The South Gate is located along Cemetery South Street 18, at the junction of Cemetery South Street 18 and Muslim Cemetery Path 11.

i) The Garden of Peace is open from 9am to 5pm daily, except on days where maintenance is being carried out.
