Elderly, pregnant women & children: If 24 hr PSI is Moderate, normal activities. If 24 hr PSI is Unhealthy, minimise prolonged or strenuous outdoor physical exertion.
Persons with chronic lung/heart disease: If 24 hr PSI is Moderate, normal activities. If PSI is Unhealthy, avoid prolonged or strenuous outdoor physical exertion.

Singapore, 10 September 2026 – Showers occurred over Singapore today. As at 6pm, the 1-hr PM2.5 concentration readings were 38 – 70 µg/m3, in Band 1 – 2 (Normal to Elevated), and the 24-hr PSI was 73 – 104, in the Moderate – Unhealthy range.
Update on Hotspot and Haze Situation
- Moderate to dense smoke plumes continue to be detected from fires in southern Sumatra and Kalimantan. Smoke plumes from southern Sumatra were observed to drift towards Singapore.
- Some showers are forecast mostly over northern and central Sumatra in the next few days. As dry conditions are expected to continue over Kalimantan and southern Sumatra, there is a risk of smoke haze affecting Singapore should the fires persist, under the prevailing southeasterly or southerly winds. The 24-hr PSI for Singapore is forecast to be in the High Moderate – Low Unhealthy range.
