Singapore, 22 July 2024 – Cleaning at East Coast Park areas B and E has been completed. From today, the cordoned-off beachfronts in both areas will be re-opened to the public. Non-primary contact water sports, such as kayaking, conducted from both areas can resume. Please refer to Annex A for map of the re-opened beachfronts at East Coast Park.

2          While it is safe to use the beach, the public is advised not to swim or undertake primary contact water sports such as wakeboarding and stand-up paddling in the beach waters. 

3          NEA continues to monitor beach water quality. Only when the water quality returns to normal and is stable can water activities fully resume.
