Zika

The Zika virus can be spread through the bite of an infective female Aedes mosquito, and the key to reducing Zika virus transmission lies in its prevention and control. Premises owners should undertake vector control measures regularly, and residents can get rid of the Aedes mosquito by frequently checking and removing stagnant water in your home and immediate surroundings.

People infected with Zika should apply repellent and wear long-sleeved clothing and long pants, to prevent mosquitoes from biting them and picking up the virus from them, and subsequently transmitting the virus to other people.
