Singapore, 21 October 2026 – The PSI forecast for 22 Oct 2026 is 101 – 160 (Unhealthy).

2.           The PSI forecast and corresponding health advisories should be used for planning next day outdoor activities.

3.           For immediate outdoor activities, please check the 1-hr PM2.5 concentration readings and personal guide on our haze microsite (www.haze.gov.sg) or mobile app (myENV).

Update on Hotspot and Haze Situation

4.          Showers fell mainly over western Singapore this afternoon. As at 7pm, the 1-hr PM2.5 concentration readings were 34 – 92 µg/m3, in (Band 1, Normal / Band 2, Elevated), and the 24-hr PSI was 80 – 123, in the Moderate to Unhealthy range. Smoke haze from Kalimantan was observed in our vicinity. Smoke haze was also observed over Sumatra.

5.          For tomorrow, while showers are forecast over Singapore and the surrounding region, dry conditions are expected over the southern parts of Kalimantan. Under prevailing east-southeasterly or southeasterly winds, smoke haze from fires in Kalimantan may be transported towards Singapore.

6.          On Friday, some smoke haze from fires in the region may continue to be transported towards Singapore under forecast southeasterly or south-southeasterly winds. On Saturday, winds are expected to shift to blow towards the southwest. Given the dry conditions forecast over southern and central Sumatra, smoke haze from Sumatra may drift towards Singapore.

Activity Guidelines

7.         The health impact of haze is dependent on one’s health status, the PSI level, and the length and intensity of outdoor activity.
