Founded by Ms Fay Tan, Artfully Yours started out as a home-based art studio which offers art programmes for both children and adults. After learning about the Vibrant Hawker Centres programme from a friend, Ms Tan applied for funding in 2018 to bring her art programmes to the public. Since then, Artfully Yours has carried out many workshops ranging from hawker food themed paper mache making sessions, bath “bomb” making sessions to art jamming sessions to various hawker centres in Singapore. Said Ms Tan, “I think the Vibrant Hawker Centres programme is a very good way to encourage people to talk to each other while participating in the activities, it also helps to bring people together and keep the hawker centre energy alive’.
