Climate Change Strategy 2012 was held in consultation with the National Climate Change Secretariat. The Permanent Secretary, Tan Yong Soon kindly kicked off
the consultation. Panel members included Jessica Cheam
       the National Climate Change Secretariat and passionate youths pushing for climate action. This session went well and ended on a positive note, with the general sentiment of youth participants saying it went better than expected. Green Drinks exists for the community and I see our role evolving with time as the community’s needs change.
What’s next for us?

  O: In 2020, we plan to organise capacity building workshops to equip participants with skills for active and constructive engagement among public, private and people sectors. We hope to see more citizens partake in more acts of environmental activism and create resilient communities in Singapore. We will continue to have talks and panel discussions and bring people in the environmental sector together to share their expertise. We see ourselves as a facilitator of conversations in the environmental space, so that we can learn from one other, but also understand the other party better and address issues more e ectively.
