1 Environmental Conservation and Sustainability (6—10 May 2019) Addressing issues related to coastal population and urbanisation; analysis of policymaking on environmental sustainability in various areas.
2 Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies (9—13 September 2019)
Focusing on ways to mitigate environmental challenges arising from climate change and the impact of climate change, and the various adaptation and mitigation strategies.
3 Clean Energy and Emission Reduction (30 September - 4 October 2019) Sharing Singapore’s multi-agency engagement in formulating clean and renewable energy solutions and implementation of the Carbon Pricing Act(2019), and providing a better appreciation of issues surrounding collective mitigating actions on a global scale.
4 Managing Coastal Biodiversity Under Urbanisation and Climate Change Pressures (14 - 18 October 2019) Sharing Singapore’s multi-agency approach to protect and manage coastal biodiversity despite urbanisation and the impact of climate change on Sustainable Development Goals.
These CAP programmes were implemented collaboratively with various lead agencies of the Resilience Working Group, Inter-Ministerial Committee on Climate Change, such as NEA, PUB, BCA, NParks, LTA, MPA, EMA, etc., MEWR, MTI, institutes of higher learning, industries and non-government organisations and Prof Wong Poh Poh, Co-ordinating lead author on the global team that worked on the 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report; the IPCC won the Nobel Peace Prize that year.
81 participants from 40 developing countries attended the CAP training programmes.
