These centres are located at Block 453A Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10, Block 104/105 Yishun Ring Road, For 2016 and 2017, NEA has scheduled renovation work for five other centres. Renovation works to centres located at Block 69 Geylang Bahru, Block 163 Bukit Merah Central and Block 84 Marine Parade Central will be carried out to update and improve these centres. Renovation works will also be carried out to the centres located at Block 347 Jurong East Avenue 1 and Block 453A Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 in 2016 to improve vibrancy at these centres. The development at the junction of Woodlands Street 12 and Woodlands Avenue 3 will replace an existing hawker centre at 4A Woodlands Centre Road. The construction commenced in January 2016, and is expected to be completed in 2017. A site along Commonwealth Avenue and Margaret Drive will replace the existing hawker centre at 1A, 2A, 3A Commonwealth Drive. The new hawker centre will be located within a new development built by HDB that will also house a supermarket, retail shops, residential units and a HDB branch office. Work on the centre began in December 2015, with completion expected in 2020. Replacing two old hawker centres and improving nine others Meanwhile in 2015, NEA completed the Repairs and Redecoration of Dunman Food Centre, Amoy Street Food Centre and Sembawang Hills Food Centre, which included repainting works and replacing fans, floor tiles, tables and stools.
