This incessant striving to do better is reflected in the number of prestigious awards NEA collected in the year. NEA took home five titles against intense competition in this annual event that recognises individuals, teams and companies for their outstanding achievements in people management and strategies. NEA took home 10 awards in this annual event that celebrates leading organisations and the practitioners for their impactful human capital strategies. 5wins at the 10wins at the Human Resources Excellence Awards 2015 The Singapore HR Awards 2015 140 Challenging ourselves vertically for a good cause Supporting cancer patients through Hair for Hope On 9 October 2015, the NEA, MEWR and PUB — which collectively form the MEWR family — took part in the MEWR-organised Vertical Challenge to raise funds for the President’s Challenge. A total of 310 officers came together to race to the top of Environment Building. Mr Masagos Zulkifli and Dr Amy Khor, the Minister and Senior Minister of State for the Environment and Water Resources, entered the race alongside senior management and staff. In the end NEA emerged champions and took home the Challenge Shield. For five years running, NEA has supported cancer patients through Hair for Hope. This year, 20 NEA officers shaved their heads to raise $2,500 for Children’s Cancer Foundation.
