The platform will be the connectivity point to the Smart Nation platform. A centralised data warehouse ➢In-depth longitudinal studies ‘What-if’ scenario modelling ➢Simulations of proposed strategies to study the cost effectiveness and impact of different strategies Trend analysis with modelling DF incidence rate per 100,000 population (Based on April 7, 2016) 0 10 20 30 40 2015 2016 126 Rollout of phase two of the Integrated Environment System In April 2014, NEA rolled out phase one of the Integrated Environment System (IES) to more than 150 NEA officers. This integrated platform for all NEA environment and weather sensor networks retrieves, analyses, displays and distributes both real-time and historical data. NEA kicked off phase two of the project immediately after phase one was rolled out. In November 2015, the enhanced capabilities of a data exchange and a data warehouse were implemented. By March 2016, IES was fully customised, allowing up to 1,000 employees The IES provides customised dashboards showing: across NEA to have access to near real-time sensor information and threshold exceedance alerts through customised dashboards. This allowed them to take swift pre-emptive or corrective actions. The alerts could also be generated using video and business analytics and predictive models. By leveraging the system’s central data warehouse, NEA will be able to also acquire a deeper understanding of the relationships between multiple environmental factors, allowing us to better tackle environmental pollution and public health risks.
