INTRODUCTION

This 2-days course provides participants with an overview of the vector situation in Singapore and how to develop an integrated & sustainable vector control programme for their companies. The knowledge gained during this course will help in the effective supervision of pest control operators hired by companies. Some case studies will be shared to better help the participants in developing the programme. Critical factors in vector control will also be highlighted so that companies can address any lapses quickly in the implementation process.

OBJECTIVE

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to gain insights as well as practical applications to design an integrated vector control programme for their companies. They will also be able to develop an assessment system to monitor the effectiveness of the programme.
