The Singapore Environment Institute (SEI) has stopped conducting the Management of Hazardous Substances (MHS) course with effect from March 2016.
The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) has a WSQ Specialist Diploma in Occupational Hygiene, which is a competency-based training programme that aims to equip individuals with the competencies of an Occupational Hygiene (OH) officer.
Under this Specialist Diploma, there is a module called 'Manage Hazardous Substances', which is similar to the Management of Hazardous Substances course that SEI used to conduct. Upon successful completion of this module including examination/assessment, participants may apply for the Hazardous Licence/Permits.
To view the list of training providers (CET Centres/Programme Partners) that also conduct modular training on 'Manage Hazardous Substances', please refer to this link.
