Terms of Reference

1. Collaborate with WHO to strengthen the capacity of entomological and viral surveillance among WHO Member States in the region, to support the development of a collaborative regional and global network of national dengue surveillance systems.
2. Provide training and promote sharing of best practices among WHO Member States, to enhance regional and global surveillance and control.
3. Provide testing protocols, reference biological materials, tertiary referral and proficiency test services for national laboratories diagnosing arboviral diseases, to enhance quality of surveillance and disease diagnostics globally. 
4. Share knowledge and expertise in outbreak preparedness and response to arboviral infections.
5. Partner with WHO Member States in operational research, such as developing and testing tools for diagnosis of arboviral infections.
