GENERAL 

SEI reserves the right to:

  • cancel/change the training course/programme and/or venue due to unforseen circumstances. In the case of class cancellation, we will arrange an alternative date for the applicants.
  • reject an application and release the allocated course place to other interested applicants at its discretion.
  • revise the course fees without prior notification.

PAYMENT

Cheques are to be crossed and made payable to 'NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT AGENCY'. Please write the course title, course run, queue-id (if any), trainee's name and company's name at the back of the cheque.

Please note that course places will only be reserved upon the payment of the course fees and on a first-come-first served basis.

LATE INTEREST PAYMENT CHARGES

The National Environment Agency reserves the right to charge you interest at the rate of 6% for all late payments.

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND

All notice of withdrawal/postponement must be given in writing. For written withdrawal/postponement received at least 14 days or more prior to the course commencement date, a 75% of the course fee is refundable.No refund will be made for written withdrawal that is received less than 14 days prior to the course commencement date and/or if the trainee fails to attend the course.

In the event that a registered trainee is unable to attend but does not wish to withdraw from the course, a replacement  (who meets the relevant entry requirement of the course) is allowed. Please provide the particulars of the substitute at least 2 days prior to the course commencement date.

Any request for refund must be submitted for NEA's consideration using the prescribed refund application form. All information requested in the form must be duly completed. Please note that any incomplete information furnished may cause delay in processing your request. Once NEA has approved a refund application, the amount will be credited back to your bank account as stated in the refund application form.

Within 30 days from the date of your submission, NEA shall endeavour to either :-
a) credit the refund amount back to your bank account; OR  
b) notify you in writing of our decision to reject your request for refund or such other outcome of our investigation. 

All refund application requests submitted are subject to approval by NEA on a case to case basis.

EXAMINATION

75% attendance rate is required before a trainee is allowed to sit for the examination. 

A certificate will only be issued when the trainee passes the examination.

All trainees will be notified of the examination results via post.

TRAINING GRANTS

Training grants may be given by the Skills Development Fund (SDF) and/or the Skills Redevelopment Programme (SRP) on a case to case basis.

The respective companies are required to submit their application for the training grants directly to WDA and/or SRP. All applications must reach WDA and/or SRP at least 1 working day before the course commencement date. For more details, please contact :
