INTRODUCTION

This half-day course aims to equip funeral directors, embalmers and funeral parlor operators with the basic infection control knowledge when handling deceased HIV patients. They will also learn of the legislation required in keeping with the Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA).

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to handle the remains of HIV Infected Persons with proper precautions on infection control.
