The Singapore Environment Institute (SEI) has been conducting various training programmes on environmental management and environmental public health to the developing countries. Many of these programmes are organised under the auspices of the Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP), administered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Singapore. To-date, more than 3000 officials from over 60 countries had benefited from our environmental training programmes.

Some of these international programmes were developed and organised in partnership with international organisations and government agencies.

Organisations we have partnered:

  • Asia Development Bank (ADB)
  • British High Commission
  • Colombo Plan Secretariat
  • French Embassy
  • Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF)
  • Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
  • Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)
  • Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA)
  • United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
  • United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO)
  • World Health Organisation (WHO)
Through these partnerships, we hope that the experience, expertise and resources of two or more partners can be synergised to provide training programmes for the benefit of a larger number of developing countries.
